Thanks for the feedback Kevin, peaceful is the aim :) finally finished this work to exhibit next month here in Oz. Your beautiful-art-suffering-skin-ink looks to be coming along, brave undertaking such exquisite and elaborate marks.

So is it oil over acrylic...or acrylic over oil? Always wondered how that works!! Beautifully rendered!! :clap:

It is both, but if applying oil glaze over acrylic, the acrylic needs to be sealed first otherwise the glazing medium (Artists turps, linseed, damar [I also include luquin - a drying accelerator]) will eat the acrylic layer. The idea is to allow the acrylic to reflect light back through the oil glazes bringing the work to life. Well done, paintings can appear to be pugged into the electricity socket and turned on!
